Sound Design
Sound design is a conceptually creative and technical field. It covers all non-compositional elements of a film, play, music performance or recording, computer game software recordings or any other multimedia project.

Voice Production
At Proworks-Audio in addition to producing voice overs we also specialise in voice production services. The voice production services include: copywriting, proof-reading, copy-editing, translating, adding background music, mixing voices, encoding for a special delivery, adding special effects and of course voice direction.
In addition to creating custom music and sound effects for our clients, we also have access to an extensive source of both music and sound effect libraries. We offer all our clients the royalties on their custom recordings produced by Proworks-Audio and endeavour to source quality royalty free libraries if requested by the client. Alternatively, the client also has the option to purchase royalty licenses on recordings that contain endorsements.
Audio Recording
All our in-house audio is recorded using ProTools®, Sony Soundforge® and Reason®. We have state of the art equipment that produces a professional industry standard sound quality. Our studio environment accommodates for voice-overs, session singers, solo artists, sound effects and music compositions.
Audio Video Sync
Audio to video synchronization refers to the relative timing of audio (sound) and video (image) parts during creation, post-production (mixing), transmission, reception and play-back processing. When sound and video have a timing related cause and effect, AV-sync can be an issue in: television, videoconferencing, film, etc. At ProWorks-audio we can help you .
Audio Restoration and Audio Forensics
Modern audio restoration techniques are usually performed by digitising an audio source from analogue media, such as lacquer recordings, optical sources and magnetic tape. Once in the digital realm, recordings can be restored and cleaned up using dedicated, standalone digital processing units such as de-clickers, de-cracklers, de-hissers and dialogue noise suppressors, or using digital audio workstations (DAWs). During the audio forensics process a background voice can be enhanced or background noise can be removed. In audio forensics we can authenticate or verify recordings presented as evidence in legal cases. Audio analysis, voice analysis, recovery and tape cleanup also fall into the category of audio forensics. All types of recording media can be analysed within the process of audio forensics. Audio Dubbing and Editing
In filmmaking, dubbing is the process of recording or replacing voices for a motion picture. The term is most commonly used in reference to voices recorded which do not belong to the original actors and speak in a different language than the actor is speaking. "Dubbing" can also be used to describe the process of re-recording lines by the actor who originally spoke them. This process is technically known as automated dialogue replacement, or ADR. Through the use of professional in-house equipment and our expertise, we can make this process smooth and painless.
